Initial or renewed vessel registration (including aquatic invasive species fee) valid for: (a) The owner of a motor vehicle that is currently required to be registered or that must be registered within a specified period of time shall not operate his motor vehicle or authorize the operation of his motor vehicle without a motor vehicle liability insurance policy in the amounts provided for in W.S. 31-9-405 (b) or a security deposit of W.S. 31-9-102 ( (a) (xi) to have and perform. The judge may suspend all or part of the penalty provided for in this paragraph and suspend the defendant under the conditions imposed on him, in particular on condition that the defendant surrenders the registration plate and registration plates of the vehicle in question to the treasurer of the district where the summons was issued. This Subdivision does not apply to a vehicle owned by a non-resident and registered in a State subject to compulsory insurance if an automobile insurance policy is in force that meets the requirements of the laws and regulations of that State, or unless it otherwise complies with the laws of that State on mandatory financial liability. A vehicle owned by a non-resident and registered in a State that does not require insurance is exempt from the application of this Subdivision. Any non-resident owner, lessee, or operator of a vehicle that is not a commercial vehicle and who is employed temporarily or full-time in that state may elect to obtain a temporary worker registration permit from the County Treasurer instead of registering the vehicle in accordance with paragraph (a)(iv) of this section and pay the fee in accordance with W.S. 31-3-101. provided that the vehicle has a valid license plate from another jurisdiction and is properly insured. ? The application for a temporary work permit must be submitted to the District Treasurer in the manner and form prescribed by the ministry and must be accompanied by valid proof of insurance. ? The authorization to register temporary workers must bear an identification number assigned to the vehicle, an expiry date and must be clearly visible and visible on the vehicle at all times in the manner prescribed by the ministry.
? The fees charged under this subsection shall be paid into the county general fund. ? The fee for a temporary work permit is fifty dollars ($50.00) per month of registration required and cannot exceed one hundred and twenty (120) days per vehicle. A vehicle that is not part of an authorized dealer`s inventory, that is not currently registered in that state or any other jurisdiction, and that must be registered when operating on public roads in that state, may be used for unloaded demonstration purposes on public roads in that state during the presentation of a demonstration permit. ? Approval will be obtained from the Department, agent or a person authorized by the Department upon request, presentation of a valid certificate of ownership and payment of the prescribed fee.
? The permit shall specify the dates of the demonstration, which shall not exceed ninety-six (96) hours, as well as any other information required by the Ministry. ? The Ministry prescribes the manner in which the permit must be posted.
